All adoption applicants are carefully screened to ensure the greatest long-term happiness for the family and for the animals themselves. We want to make sure that each animal is matched with the prospective guardians' general lifestyle, and to the type of care the guardians can provide. All adoptions require a completed adoption application and home check by an SPCA representative.
