Sterilisation is one of the most powerful tools in animal welfare. Every sterilisation prevents unwanted litters, reduces roaming and fighting, lowers disease risk and improves the overall health of animals and communities.

Our SPCA runs ongoing sterilisation campaigns and outreach campaigns to reach communities where access to veterinary care is limited. These campaigns are made possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors and they directly reduce the number of unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals in our region.

We encourage all pet owners to sterilise their animals. It is an act of responsibility and compassion and the only lasting way to break the cycle of suffering.
