The Garden Route SPCA relies on the kindness of people who give their time to help animals. When you volunteer, you don’t just offer a few hours, you truly change lives. For you, it brings joy, connection, new friendships and the knowledge that you’ve made the world kinder and more compassionate.

We have a strong and dedicated team of volunteers, each contributing in their own way. Some are hands-on with the animals, while others prefer to support through different tasks. Every role matters and every helping hand brings us closer to giving animals the futures they deserve.

But this work comes with challenges. With hundreds of animals in our care at any time, every act of support, whether big or small, helps us to keep going. Your time, energy and heart make it possible for us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome. The animals of the Garden Route need us and we cannot be here for them without you.
